Dr. Christopher Hom is a cardiologist specializing in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging with a clinical focus on the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease. He grew up in Southern California and attended Cornell University for his undergraduate studies. He returned to California to complete his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center, where he developed a strong interest in cardiovascular imaging and stress testing.
Following his training, Dr. Hom joined the faculty at UCLA as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology, where he was involved in clinical cardiology and cardiovascular imaging education. Dr. Hom is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and holds additional board certification in Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiovascular CT.
